Aneurysm Databank ADB

Developing an integrated disease model

The aim of the AneurysmDataBank is to provide an infrastructure to facilitate scientific exploitation of information globally, promote interactions across fields building bridges between physics, biology and pathology. The purpose is to develop an integrated disease model, monitor the disease and provide first hand validated information to patients, decision support to clinicians and services to the scientific community.

The AneurysmDataBank is currently populated with clinical data provided by different projects such as @neurIST, AneuX and the International Stroke Genetics Consortium Intracranial Aneurysm working Group. The collected information describes the initial clinical condition of the patients and of their aneurysm(s) and details about treatments and patient’s outcomes. It includes structured and imaging data covering molecular, cellular, organ, patient and population levels.

After obtaining formal ethical approval, data from new collaborating centers can be added to the AneurysmDataBank. The data will be harmonized and stored in a standard format respecting the Common Data Elements data structure and definitions. Information generated by in vitro and in vivo experiments can also be integrated in the AneurysmDataBank.

The AneurysmDataBank core is a sql database connected to an open multimedia archiving system that allows storing a high number of digital data sources. The ADB is accessible through a secured access controlled web-based portal.

You can update information regarding your clinical trial master file and upload your data on the ADB data platform.

To receive credentials to access the ADB data platform please contact ADB management office.
